It is simple! c2 estimator is designed to seamlessly import files from other popular estimating programs

Using Excel as the engine, C2 adds a few important pieces of code to make the program behave the way you the estimator thinks. You can now step within levels in your project, for example:

1. Start up: Clicking the C2 icon loads the program. The first screen you see asks you whether you want to start a new estimate.

   
    
   

2. Go in: Create a new estimate, give it a name and begin work!
    
   
3. Enter information: The first screen you will come to is the Summary page. This is where you enter such typical trades as Earthworks, Painting and Mechanical Services. Or you may wish to break the project up into areas.
    
   
4. Next Level! Now watch the power of C2 for Excel. Choose a trade and press the forward arrow. You are taken into this trade. Individual items are added in this area, and automatically update the summary page.
    
   
5. Quantity Breakup You can also go into the quantity breakup for an individual item. For example you want to break that 25Mpa Concrete item into cement, sand and aggregate. Press the forward arrow and you can enter these individual quantities. Press the back button and your item is automatically updated!
    
   
6. Rate Breakup You can even break the rate for an item up in the same way that the quantity is broken up.
